Wondering about someone on the forum...

I have not been on in forever but I've been wondering about a particular user [MENTION=26265]SheWolfSilver[/MENTION]. If I am not mistaken she resides in Oklahoma. I am just hoping she, her family, and her pets were not affected by the recent tornado. Has she been on the forum at all lately? I do not know how to search for a user, otherwise I would find her profile and message her myself lol Isn't it funny how we get to "know" other users over time...where they live, their pets' names, sometimes even their family?

Yes I've been wondering about her too! There's been a couple of people that I have gotten to "know", or have seen around on this sight that have just suddenly dissappeared. Its funny because they are complete strangers to me, yet I worry about them!

A couple of my coworkers spent Memorial Day weekend traveling/staying in Oklahoma to help with relief efforts. They kept us all posted on what they were doing there through pictures on Facebook. I have to say it was one of the most humbling, sad, yet beautiful things I have ever seen. The spirit of Oklahoma was not broken. There were pictures of the American flag flying proudly amongst all the devastation. We spend so much time tearing each other down over race, religion, sexual orientation, etc that it is so nice to see moments of helping others.

I am very sorry for worrying everyone! No, the tornadoes did not affect me and my family they were about 40 miles north of us. I just haven't came on the forum because there was a particular thread I posted on that I guess everyone was objecting to the font or colors that were being used? I jokingly stated that the highlighting helped me because I was getting old and blind and one the moderators said I was trying to cause drama. So, I figured maybe this wasn't the forum for me if I couldn't joke around because I have a very healthy sense of humor and I try not to take life too seriously. Having a debilitating disease like psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis will kind of do that to you. Anyway, I had some email notifications about this and so I wanted to let everyone know I was OK.

Thank you, everyone for the concern. We all are fine although we did have to spend a few scary nights in our storm shelter. We do have a shelter so if anything were to come this way we would be safe. I did have a niece and nephew that went to one of the schools hit in Moore but they made it out alive, Thank God! I don't think I will be coming back full time but I might drop in from time to time.
