Wish I had more time with the pigs

Does anyone ever feel like they are so busy with life that they don't have enough time to spend with their pigs. This week I have been sick and studying for an Organic Chemistry exam, and I have barely been able to hold any of them. I always feed them and clean their cages, but I wish I had more lap time and floor time. Another thing is I can't study and be around the squeeking at the same time so I have to go downstairs. (Everytime I hear a squeek I have to look to see what's going on, it's too distracting.) I miss my pigs!

Don't feel bad. I feel the same way. Thats why I made a 3 level condo. The cage itself is entertaining and she has a cage mate. I work all day and when I get home everything is a rush. Give them veggies as I coo to them. Then i rush in the kitchen to make my family dinner. Then I go coo some more. Then I get undress and finally relax. I try to give lap time approx. 30 minutes to one or both depending on how late it is. I will be the first to admit that i dont give enough time to them but they seem happy enough on their own. I look at it this way. What other place will give them a beautiful cage, keep them healthy and relatively happy? I do the best I can. Weekends are always better.

Pennick, your wonder woman, it sounds like you are doing a great job.

And I'm the second one to admit, that I don't give enough time to my pig. I try, but I have so many things going on. I think he's happy. He also, has nice food, hay, toys, people who love him.

I feel the same too. Recently with exams going on and coursework deadlines I havn't been able to spend time with them.

I have times too when I have to be gone from home all day and can't give them floortime. I try to squeeze in a few minutes of lap time for each on those days.
