Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle...SNIP!

I was trimming my piggies nails eariler, and I usually get through it fairly quickly and without any bleeding. Well my blind piggie is the better behaved of the two for this becuase she can't see the nail trimmer, but today she was especially antsy. She wiggled too much, and I hit the quick. Fortunately I have quick stop, and that took care of it. What I'd like to hear are some nail clipping methods, particularly how you hold your pigs to keep them as still as possible. Thanks.

tricky clipping

i have found that only animal clippers are the way to go when clipping the nails. also i have found that wropping the piggy tightly and extending the leg for clipping helps on the wriggling factor and they seem to feel more secure when doing it that way.

Will do

I use a small pair of clippers...the kind you'd use to trim a cat's nails. They're the easiest for me to use while handling a squirming piggie. I will try the towel method next time, however. Thanks.
