Wierd Behavior

My Pig's been acting a bit strange lately. When I gave it some floor time, it would simply sit there for a minute or two, then jump up 5 inches in the air and dash everywhere like some cat was chasing it. This happened repeatedly during floor time. Also, it lost its temper yesterday and tried to bite me when I petted it gently and tried to pick it up. It also ate its own poop twice.

All pigs eat their own poo. It's normal. Your pig sounds like it was popcorning, but may also have mites. Hard to tell. If your pig hasn't been to vet, take it.

Mites, eh?

Tell me, what do mites look like? or can you see them at all? My pig has this dandruff stuff on its furr... could that be mites?

No, you can't see them. If you got your pig from a pet store, odds are very high it has mites. Take it to a vet to get treated. ONLY ivermectin, given 3 times one week apart will take care of mites.
