Should animals that never go outdoors be spayed?
Yes unless they are a cage kept animal (like guinea pigs). Even then it is healthier to have them spayed or neutered. For example; I may have another sow in my house with ovarian cysts. If she was spayed this would not be happening.

Both my male rabbits are neutered. It helps with houstraining, aggresion, spraying and is healthier for them.

I get all of my dogs and cats spayed and neutered. I even spend money out of my own pocket (with some help from the occational donator) and trap then spay/neuter the stray cats in my neighborhood.

It only takes a moment for an unspayed dog or cat to sneak out and get pregnant or impregnate.

.

Our bunny was found in the middle of the street driving home from school...

Wow that's a talented rabbit! ;)

I couldn't resist sorry. But I do agree with everyone here. I've always been a supporter of rescuing animals of any kind rather than breeding or buying them. It makes sense to me though. (common sense?)

I'll have to talk to my mom about it. I'll have to show her this whole thread.
