where should i put my cage??

I just made a new cage for my piggies and I don't know where to put it!!! Right now it is in a room that we added onto our house not very many people go in there right now except me. We keep our pet supplies for our minature zoo lol, in there and other stuff.
The room is air conditioned and has a great big window. But do my piggies need to be in the middle of all the action? Like in the hall way or family room or someplace like that?

I deciced to put the piggy cage I asked you about in my room. But they usually spend the day in a pen in the shade on the grass if it isn't to hot.
