Hi everyone!! My boy Odie just got neutered this morning, and I was wondering how long I should wait before giving lap time and floor time again? I forgot to ask my vet when I picked him up today. He's doing so well though! :) as soon as I put him in his cage (a 2x1.5 while he still recovers) he started eating his hay and some pellets! So he is comfortable but I don't want to mess anything up by handling him too much. Thank you !!

Maybe lap time, but not floor time. Floor time may be a bit stressful. But for lap time let him lay down in your lap and relax, you can be sitting in front of your computer while he chills. Just don't be jumpy or anything.

Lap time should be fine, just be gentle when picking him up. My boy got neutered just over a week ago, and I've had him out for lap time at least once a day, and I check the incision site every time for any abnormal changes. He is going well also so far.. he is in a pet store cage until he is completely healed and is safe to put in with my girls on the 28th.

But yea, lap time is fine, but floor time I would probably hold off for a week or two.
