Hi there!

I'm trying to find a vet for my piggie..just in case anything happens in the future, and I read some where to ask the vet if they carry a certain type of cavy medicine. If they do, then it's a good sign! Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thank you!

I'm not sure, but I'm sure someone would. Have you tried Guinia Linx?? They would most likepy know.

What is the medicine for? Mites? Lice? I need to know that before I can help you out.

Are you talking about Critical Care? For when a piggy stops eating, (broken link removed) ? Not a medicine but I thought I would ask.

Or are you talking about Ivermectin?
Or Advantage?
Or Baytril (usually used to treat URIs)?

You need to give us more info, just 'cavy medicine' isn't going to help.

SMZ..or TMP...is otherwise called Tribrissen... It is also a safe cavy antibiotic...comes in a flavored liquid

Sorry for the delay in reply..I've been out of town. Yes, it's Critical Care, thanks Cinn! I wasn't sure of the name, but this rang a bell. Now I know what to ask my future vet. Thanks cavy lovers!
