Hello all - I have 2 baby GP's, one about 5 weeks and 1 about 2 months, I inadvertently purchased timothy pellets from the store. I know (now) that babies need alfalfa for the added calcium so can I supplement with anything until I can afford to purchase new pellets?

You can give them extra parsley, snap peas, etc. I have a three month old who gets timothy pellets and I have to do that with him. If you look on the nutrition chart, I give him the maximum recommended frequency. For parsley it says 2-4 times a week. I'll do the 4 times a week. My adult pigs only get it two times per week. My baby pig is also the only one who gets once weekly labeled veggies. This includes kale, chard, etc.

Thank you for the helpful information. I am going to buy Oxbow or Sweet Meadow once I find them in my area (Pittsfield, MA).
