Hi. I have a skinny pig, and he's housed seperately from my other 2 boars. Their cages are sepearted by grids, and unfortunately one of my boars bite my skinny pig on the nose! He has 2 little puncture holes =( I put some extra coroplast up against the grids so that that doesn't happen anymore.

What if anything can I put on his nose to help it heal? or should I just leave it to heal on it's own?

ouch! that sounds painful! was it bleeding? maybe you should show it to a vet, if you can still see bite holes, get it stitched up or something. I'm not sure..

Hi. It's not bleeding, I just was wondering if I should put something on it so that it doesn't get infected? like an antibiotic...or is that not safe?

When my guinea pig got a cut the vet reccomended iodine. You can buy it at a grocery store.

I also used peroxide but some one one this forum said not too.
