What does it mean to have your pig rumblestrut? I was just reading Cavy Spirit's social life and it mentioned that rumblestrutting was non-aggressive, but what exactly is rumbestrutting? I'm preparing myself to ask my parents if I could buy another guinea pig companion for my current pig, and I would just like to know. Thanks in advance.

It is just one pig telling the other "I am the boss!" It sounds like a low rumbling, with some bottom-wagging going on. You can't miss it!

Oh, thanks much. Just curious so I didn't panic when, and if, I introduced another male to my pig.

No problem, just have a dustpan handy for emergency situations. =) Not that anything will happen, but it never hurts to be prepared.

I know what you mean, I panicked when my first two pigs started fighting and I eparated them with my hands. Luckily, I wasn't bit, but I did suffer a few scratches.

That's lucky then! Some people have been really cut up. Hope that everything goes well!

Thanks for the information, I hope I can get a new piggie soon. Do you know of any sites to find rescues and such on, I've looked but I cannot find one where I live.
