Diet what and how often should i be feeding vegetables to my guinea pigs?

Hi! I just adopted 2 seven month old guinea pigs from the animal shelter named hazel and luna. They are both girls! Ive never had guinea pigs before, and im really confused on vegetables. Yesterday i gave them carrot, romaine lettuce and green bell pepper and today i gave them parsley, romaine lettuce and green bell pepper. How many times a day should i be feeding them vegetables? And what should i be feeding them everyday? One my other concerns is they are not eating there pellets. I got them the oxbow adult pellets and they barely eat them, just there timothy hay. Is this normal?

Welcome!

Hay and no pellets is fine, but you may find that they're more adverturesome about eating after they've been with you for a while.

Do turn them both over and confirm that they're both females. We see LOTS of pregnant "males," or one pregnant pigs in what was thought to be a pair of sows.
