It's so cute, I want one. Maybe when Boo dies.

Hah I know! Capybaras are so cool, they're like a cross between a small dog and a piggie!!

Wow I just looked them up, they really do look like a cross between a Dog and Pig! :D

Might be a strange question but... Can you have them as pets in some places?

EDIT: Well what I mean is how a where can you get them?
Not that i'm going to be aloud to xD But when im older...

It seems so, not sure though. If you go to the home page, it shows a missing poster. It seems a delivery person let them out, it says in WV. To me that would be West Virginia. I just watched and read the FAcute page, they can be a handful(males). I would just get it neutered as a baby.

these are hard to keep as pets as they require that you have a pool of some sort for them to use :) i would not like to be at the biting/butting end of one though XD

Well, I know my Mum and Dad wouldn't want to have one around right now xD
But maybe when I have my own house :D

I wonder if I would move just to get one...
I like the way they are sort of a mix of guinea pig and dog!

It a nice dream...lol

There are actually breeders, but if you read up on them, they can get very aggressive when they want to mate. Check out the blog by the lady who was on My Crazy Obsession. Her capybara attacked her pretty viciously during one mating season. They're not really domestic, so you can't really trust them as pets. Also, their litter box has to have water, and as mentioned earlier, they do indeed need daily access to a large swimming pool. I think I'll stick to sweet, domesticated regular guinea pigs!

Yeah I read about it attacking her to :/
Yeah for now I think I will stick with my sweet little piggies xD

Capybaras are a relative to guinea pigs xD

Haha, my best friend and I have nicknamed guinea pigs "Dwarf Capys" because he said they look so alike. Nobody knows what the heck we're talking about when we mention dwarf capy. lol

I do love capybaras, but I don't think I'd ever have one as a pet.

I half want one as a pet and half don't xD

There are a few pics on that site of her cavy with her capy! :D
The pig is soooo tiny compared to the capy!
