hi ppls. i just got this crazy idea and it was if you could teach gps to jump over straws or something (i got this idea from watching a dog show lol) it would be really cool if they like popcorned or what ever over it!!!! does anyone wanna say anything? cuse other wise i just felt like sharing. then u could have mini races.

My piggy likes to jump over all sorts of small things...but I doubt I could get her to do it on command! She's just not that kind of personality!!!!

I don't think it would work very well. They may jump once or twice, but they'll generally go around it. Straws can be a potential choking hazard if chewed as well. Cool idea though!

i was going to say what if they jumped over hay, but then i relised that whatever little greedy pig i would have would just preffer to eat his way though the hay than go around or over it.

anyway, i had a idea for a game to play with your cavies, or anything that will buy into this

what if you set up some extra cube or somthing like a maze or racetrack and then you took your cavies and had them "race" eachother. you would get them to go forward by sticking thier favorite treat in front of them and moving it forward at a moderate speed (i'm not trying to have them win the tour de france or anything like that) of course you could give the treat to the winner, and another one to the loser at the end of the "race".

Would this idea work? What are your thoughts or ideas?

They both would be cute. The race/treat thing would be a way to give your pigs some exercise and a way to spoil them.

GuineasGalore: How funny eating his way through it LOL! =D. Mine would probably eat his way through it too unless you had a carrot in front of him then he would plow through it! =D =D

Yeah, my first thought was that my pigs would stop and eat every bite of hay and then go back to their houses! lol

Heh, thats funny. I've got some small tubes in their cage and they love jumping over them. They never bother going around them, but they enjoy going over =)
