Hello Everyone,

I brought my girls home!

A couple of days ago Pig Tales Rescue and I made a sort of deal. I was going to adopt two of her female piggies and she would take the two pregnant sows if I could spring them from the Animal Shelter- where I found them on Tuesday.

Well, on Thursday I snached the pregnant mommies and a 4 week old baby from the shelter. They spent the night here and then yesterday we met up with Babyhippie who lives halfway between Pig Tales and myself. She had picked up my girls yesterday afternoon and brought them to me and took the pregnant girls with her to deliver to Pig Tales today.

So, I got my two girls--who are absolutely adorable, by the way, and Pig Tales will help these piggies have a safer happier life. A Great Big Thanks to Babyhippie for helping with this transfer!! Thank you so much!

Congrats on the adoption!

Spring? Snatch? Sounds like a jail break!

can you send in some photos of the girls? congratulations on the adoption, are the girls in a c&c cage or outside?

That is so wonderful, Guineamommy! Congrats on your new girls, as well as for saving the pregnant mommies and the baby from the shelter!

Well done on helping these guineas. I love the name of the rescue by the way..."Pig Tales"....very good!

If you saw where they were...it was indeed a jail break. They had no veggies/hay or hidey houses. Just a wire bottom cage covered with newspaper and a small bowl of food with seeds, etc.

Outside..no, all 5 boys and the 3 girls are all in the house. Florida is much too hot for anyone to be outside for long.

I will post pictures of the whole crew soon.

Hi guineamommy!

You were right about those mama-to-be pigs being hungry! And that little tiny baby sure is a cutie! I'm so glad you were able to save them from the shelter. We're getting ready to meet Pig Tales to bring them to her.

Hooray for you Guineamommy, these girls will now have a happy and safe lives with you, not to mentioned to be loved and pampered!!!
Good job!!!

Thank you. The ones who should really be thanked are the Rescue homes and offices. They help so many unwanted-no longer loved animals. They are the ones who take them in, clean them, feed them, treat them with medicines or vets and then re-home them to people who will love them. You guys are great.

And don't forget the many families who Foster the pets who are waiting for homes. They are very special too. They keep pets in their homes for unknown lenghths of time and then give them over to new families.

I have a lot of respect for all of you.
