Some pigs simply drink more than others. How many veggies etc you feed them also influences how much they'll take.
Sometimes they seem to be drinking more than they actually are, because they're play with the spout and drip it all over themselves and the floor - watch her when she's drinking to see if this might be the case.
Unless she's drinking an excessive amount (and a very small water bottle a day isn't loads) then the key is to look for changes in their habits. Mine aren't big drinkers at all but they pee plenty and aren't dehydrated. A couple of times I've been tipped off that one isn't quite right because he or she is drinking a lot more than usual. When this happens, get them to the vet.
He does play with the water bottle a lot . Its like his favorite toy. Thanks Treen. I was starting to worry. He hasent been drinking more than usual, he just always drinks a lot.
The water probably leaks out somewhat then. It's better to be drinking more than enough than too little, I think. Glad to hear that everything's alright.
If you put newspaper only around the area where the water bottle is and watch her drink, you'll be able to tell. If she's playing with it, either she or the floor will be wet. If both are dry, she's drinking it.
I think it depends on the pig, also. My old guinea pig used to drink half of his water bottle a day(I give them extra large water bottles, as I am always afraid they'll drink it all) while my current one only drinks about a quarter. They've been doing this for the whole past year and they're very healthy.
