Hi, I'm getting two guinea pigs next week, and I've decided to use fleece as bedding and use towels underneath. I've researched on how to use it, but I have one question. Can you wash and dry the fleece and towels together in one load? Or do you need to wash them separately?

I wash them together. I've never had any problems. In fact because I have to pay by the load (apartment living) I wash them with our bath towels too.

I use a folded Uhaul Pad for under my fleece and I wash them together, I don't see why not! :)

I wash together. Just no dryer sheets.

@lemonham - you are brave to wash them with your bath towels!

I guess, but I figure it gets disinfected enough for the piggies, it's good enough for us. Plus $3 more per week would add up. :)

I wash the piggy stuff with the dog's blankets that go in there kennel.
