Want to Build A Pig Cage
Here's the deal: I want to build a nice place for my guinea pigs, but i'm not sure how to start- what to use, and how much the cost will be.
Right now I have 9 guinea pigs- 5 girls and 4 boys, all under 6 months old, with 5 of the total being under 4 months old.
Obviously I'm going to keep the males and females separated, but I was wondering if I could build the cage in such a way that they were seperated, but still able to have contact with each other- maybe a divider in the cage.
I was also thinking about using multiple levels with ramps. One of the males- Gizmo, is a real acrobat, and he'll climb all over the place.
Anyway- where do i get materials to build cages with, such as the floor and the bars?
