can carvs. see very well, my little guy gets areund great but acts like he cant see to good, its all about smell
 
They have very little Depth Perception, they can't tell how far/close something is to them. Their hearing and sense of smell compensates for this.
 
They see like horses do. Their eyes are on the sides of their heads, not the front, so except for a very narrow range in front of them, they're looking with either one eye or the other, but not both. That's why they've got no depth perception.
