Hi! :) Some of you may know, but we added to our furry family three days before Christmas. We got a second bunny off a lady from CraigsList who found him in her alleyway two months ago. She knew right then that it had been a pet, because you don't go finding adorable tan lops in the wild, do you? He was lost, starving, and sad. So she brought him in, fed and cleaned him up. Well, she was moving and also had a large dog, so she needed to rehome him to a loving family. Whoever wanted him needed to pick him up that evening, as she had an appointment with the Animal Humane Society to surrender him that evening. Me, having a weakness for animals in need, asked my parents. After ALOT of persuading, they called the lady and we went to go get him that evening. He came with a 40 pound bag of aspen premium horse shavings, a $140 Ware rabbit hutch, grain, and a water and food bowl..... All for $5. It was the best $5 I have spent in my whole life, and it felt good that I saved one lucky animal from being euthanized for Chiristmas.

Well..... When I memtioned a "second bunny", I really meant it. We do have another grayish white lop (who is my avatar :D) who is our original resident. He is a boy, and our newest addition is also. We wasn't to eventually house them together in a 2 x 5 C&C, but for now they are in separate cages. The problem is, where can I get them neutered? There are very minimal small animal vets in my area, and I'm not looking to pay $200 per bunny to be neutered. I'm looking for somewhere considerably near my location, Plymouth,Minnesota. If anyone would mind helping me here or giving any suggestions.... Any would be appreciated. I'd also prefer if they also did yearly vet checks and such, as if the neutering went well, I'd like to select the clinic as my main vet place for our bunnies. Thank You... In advance, from Skippy, Snicker, & Me :)

Talk to your local exotic vet or low cost vet. Ask if they have experience and offer a discount for rescued animals.
Check this out and see if they can help: Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program - MN SNAP.
You could also call House Rabbit Society and ask who does the spays for them in that area and if they know of any good/low cost vets and if they had any money to help you out.

Best of luck, hope that helps!

Thank you, Gigabyte. You proved to be quite useful there ;). I'll definitley look out those sources, best of thanks for your help! :)
