You can order revolution from here, http://www.petshed.com/revolution.asp they are an Australian based company which is why you don't need a prescription to purchase revolution from them (as Australia is one of the only countries where no script in needed for revolution). Other members based in the US have purchased revolution from the petshed, it will probably take a week or two to get to you though. They are almost certainly very uncomfortable due to the fleas but there is nothing you can do at home that will be effective enough to get rid of the fleas or alleviate the discomfort they are causing.

Why are you not allowed to take them to the vet? What if the matter was more pressing (like a URI)? Would you be paying for it or would your father? While flea's aren't immediately life threatening, they can cause other serious issues such as anaemia which can kill. It isn't fair on your guinea pigs to not be provided with medical attention, if you truly can not provide it for them then it is in their best interest they go to somewhere that can provide it. They are your responsibility, and sometimes being responsible is not what we want to do but rather what we have to do. The ideal situation would be if you were independent and able to fulfil all of there needs physically, emotionally and financially.

My dad would have to pay for it. I should have know that this would happen! Something always happens and then we always have to rehome them! The last dog my parents bought we only had him for a week!

If you do end up having to give them up it may be best to wait until you are independent before looking into more pets. I'm sure it is horrible getting attached to pets only to have to give them up, if you were in a position where you could care for them completely on your own I'm sure the situation would be different.

You aren't. If you were you wouldn't be here seeking help. Many people keep pets in absolutely horrible conditions and couldn't care less about their well being, you do not fit this description. You are not a horrible pet owner, you are just being put in a difficult position and you are having to make a difficult decision.
