So today I gave my piggies some carrots and lettuce. I think they may have had to much because spikes poohs look a little mushy or is that normal because I am just starting to give them veggies. I didn't intend for them to eat a whole bunch but I think they may have had alot. How should I go about introducing veggies to them so they don't get sick or get tummy aches or what ever.

As I understand it, if they have mushy poops then that does mean they've had a little too much veggies. Introduce them slowly, especially depending on the size of your piggies. My girls are pretty small, and a whole bowl of veggies definitely makes their poops mushy, so I hand-feed them sparingly throughout the day (mostly cilantro and baby carrots). I think it just takes some trial and error to see what's right for your piggies!

I was just giving them one baby carrot every other day. But I dunno I wanted to give them alittle more this time so I gave them some cut up carrots and lettuce. They didn't eat it all but they ate a good bit. Thanks I will deff do it slowly instead of just all at one time.

Also How can I clip my piggies nails they are starting to get really long and look very gross. I need some help figure out how to do this!!

Thanks! What do I use if I cut the quick I don't have any of the store bought blood stopper!D:

Thanks. Just like plain corn starch or do you mix it with something

You can just pinch some dry, plain cornstarch between your two fingers and hold it firmly in the pig's nail to stop bleeding.

I think I read a thread of some woman putting her entire pig into a bowl of flour out of panic. :p

I wouldn't recommend that, of course!

Okkayy. I am going to wait till my mum gets home to help me clip them because my piggies are very skittish sadly I wouldn't be able to do it alone.
