Okay so I need to clean my room and the area where Sid's cage is, but I am scared to vaccum! Will the vaccum scare him and stress him out? Also, I finally built that C&C cage and I put fleece everywhere, which by the way he loves! Anyways, I've ben picking up the poops with my hands and I just know that there's got to be a better way then this! Can I use the vaccum around the cage and in it? If not, does anyone have any alternatives? I bought a small dust buster but every time I go and clean around the area of his cage, he freaks out and it sounds like he's growling! I really need to vaccum! Oh and even when I'm vaccuming the hallway he freaks out! Maybe I should put him in the bathroom when I vaccum? Well thanks for reading this and the advice!

What I did to get my piggies use to the vacuum, is I started vacuuming outside of the room, i'd go past their door about 5 or 6 times so they could get use to the noise. Then everyday I would start inching into the room, their totally use to the vacuum now.

Ruby actually loves the vacuum! She comes right over and starts wheeking and popcorning :)

Mine are used to it too. They don't really care if I vacuum. For piggies everything is scary at first then they get used to it.

Ever tried one of those little handheld vaccums that people keep in their cars?

My pigs dont mind me vaccuming... make sure he is out of the cage if you are going to vaccumm inside of it though! ;D

I so badly want one of the handheld ones! much easier than a big vaccumm ;D

Mine likes to nibble on the dust buster.
