I've been looking online for a Uhaul furniture pad for my girls, but I can't seem to find one. Could someone link to the one I'm looking for?

And if you've used a Uhaul pad before, do you recommend it? Anything I need to know about them? Thanks in advance!

Even though they are huge, I would still get at least two, that way you know you have enough. I have four and I plan on getting more just because I make A LOT of pee pads. (Love them haha)

Tips: They need to be washed and dried BEFORE you measure and cut it because it will shrink a bit. (Also they don't seem to absorb that well unless you wash and dry them either) I wash and dry mine three times each just like I do new fleece. (Half a cup fragrance free detergent, one cup vinegar, hot/warm water, no fabric softener sheet in the dryer. Like I said, I just do the same procedure as if it was new fleece.) Then I'll cut mine up to whatever measurements I need.

YES I absolutely love them! :)

You can also look up a Uhaul location near you so you can just get them there that way you don't have to pay shipping getting them online.

Uhaul pads are great absorbent layer, but I recently switched to Wood Pellets capped with a fleece layer and now in love with wood pellets.

Wood pellets seem nice, but I doubt my mom would be too happy with me hauling fifty points of wood pellets into her house... She's barely letting me get a Uhaul pad because "she doesn't want rat pee in her washing machine." I've convinced her to let me get one though.

Haha yeah it does seem a little gross but here's what I do that helps.

Shake out everything really well outside (or in your garage or something and then just sweep it up afterwards), you can also get a rubber brush to get most of the hair off, then put everything in pillow cases or a mesh washing bag to cut down on the amount of hair that gets in the machine. I use half a cup of detergent, a teeny tiny squirt of blue dawn and a capful of bleach. That gets rid of the smell and also... Whatever comes out of a little guinea pig is no match for detergent and bleach I'm just sayin haha. You can use more than a capful of bleach if you need but it just depends on how good your washing machine is. What you do not want is to open up the washing machine and smell bleach. Even with just two capfuls I have to give it an extra rinse cycle. So start with one capful and go from there, you'll figure it out. ;)

Also if it will help your Mom be less grossed out lol you can do an empty bleach load after you're done with pig laundry just to thoroughly clean the machine...
