lol My U-Haul pads are here! I bought Fleece last week. I have a college dorm-activity blanket (playful fleece instead of boring plain colors) that I'm going to untie and use as one side. I borrowed my mom's sewing machine.

I am READY to make my Fleece Bedding.

.....But... Should I make 3 or four minis to cover the floor or 1 big one?? Ideas?

Cage - Done.JPG

This is my cage. Going to be adding a loft (or two) when I have time (and more shelf units) but just don't know the best route to go. Newspaper stinks way too much WAY too soon (especially with my 3 piggerts).

Any constructive criticism would be VERY appreciated.

I'm at work til 5 (IN time) so I can't act until then. So I shall be plotting away while I sell furniture :guilty:

I can't wait to see what you make! It's (in my opinion) easier to use one big piece of fleece.

Thanks! Exact size? Or a smidge longer length and width just to make sure it's not left short?

I prefer my liner to be a tad larger, incase it shrinks, and it keeps poos from going under the liner. Just about a 1/2 inch longer.

That's not a bad plan. I'll (hopefully) post some pics tonight. Gotta figure out where will be best to set up. Maybe I'll cut on the kitchen floor and sew at the dining table :D

This is what i got. Have one flipper made and i just didn't have the giddyup to make another two. So i took the pieces i cut out for my full-cage liner and voila. Here it is. I folded the uhaul up and over the coro at the water bottle end cuz that's where they pee the most. We'll see how they do. They're already much quieter as they scurry about. :)

Where did you get the white grids for your cage? They look great!

They are wire shelving that has been hacksawed into the right widths. I turned the cut side all down and will use the shelf lip on top as help for base for a loft or second story. I spent 4 hours getting the shelves into the right shapes.
