I was thinking that the towels he has under the fleece at the moment may get smelly as he is going to be in the main room we use (the living room) from now on, so I wondered if there is a UK equivalent of U-Haul pads? :eye-poppi If so, I'd like links please if possible :)

If you can't find those, see if you can find 100% cotton mattress pads at resale shops. Just launder in bleach to make sure you don't bring bed bugs in. The key is to use 100% cotton. Towels are heavy so they take longer to dry so I think that's why they smell more. Uhaul pads and mattress pads are lighter weight so they dry faster and work better. I use uhaul pads but if I could find cheap 100% mattress pads, I'd prefer them because they don't lint like uhaul pads do.

Thanks for the input :)
Browsing the forum, I saw someone mention 'Removal blankets' which are similar to U-hauls. Anyone got more information?
