Ok so I finally found some piggers that will actually work out most likely. ( I am getting 1 or 2 boys)
And this is what the lady emailed me and said-
1 is a broken coronet. What is a broken coronet? I know what coronet is I think but what does broken mean?
And the 2nd one is A white crested brindle. What is a white crested brindle?
I wish people would just use normal colors like brown, black, and white. LOL it is sooo confusing.
Anyways can anyone help?

Well a white crested is a white guinea pig who has a dip-like thing on their head- almost all my piggies have them. Go to my pictures and you will be able to see a few crested guienas. Not sure of the others though, sorry!

ooh those little dips are cute! lol

And your piggs are super cute!

lol thanks! The brown one is Peppy, and the grey and white one is Chubby.

Aww they have cute names!

"broken" defines they have no specific color pattern. these babies are usually from litters where the parents are different colors/breeds. for example, my girl is golden agouti, white, and red. she is a broken breed (not tricolor) because her gene coding isnt "pure". do you get it, kind of?????? its hard to explain, but basically, there are both dominant and recessive genes from both parents present in their DNA which means coat colors of broken babies can never be predicted.

Ok well I sort of understand! Basically it could be any color with any pattern if it's a broken?

Oh and what's a golden agouti?

LOL thanks, I rescued Peppy from a horrible home. He was skinny as all heck, curled nails*they still aren't fully healed, they may never be from what I have been told*, scared to no end, and was in a 10 gallon aquarium, a hamster water bottle, and no food dish. They used pine bedding to add to that. He was very much neglected. Now Peppy is healthy, almost perfect nails, and is popcorning! He also has about 80 sq. ft. of cage compared to 10 gallon..
Chubby was born from missex and has ever since been the happiest little fellow! He likes being alone, unfortunatley, and loves being pet fully*head to butt) and popcorns everytime someone does that! It's so cute and funny!

LOL. yeah. im sending you a PM now.

What is a Brindle? Because she said it was a White Crested Brindle. Anyone?
Loves2travel I got your PM.

i think brindle is........................

hmmm, i have no clue!

ok, i looked it up. a brindle has red and black hairs all mixed together rather than in patches. in patches would be tortoiseshell.

have you ever seen a boxer (dog...lol) that is like black and light brown all mised up?? That's brindel. Also some cats and other dog breeds have it. Some people say cat's are 'tortishell' but it's the same as brindle I'll have to find a link to a brindle...
Here is a great pic od a brindle Abby...very cute!!

(broken link removed)

Oooh that piggy is really really cute!

huh! I had no idea! lol I htought it was the same!! lol
