two level cages

I have made a one level cage with the coroplast. I would like to know how the two level cages are supported. I haven't been able to figure it out from the pictures.
 
Thet are usualy supported by extra cubes. They are connected with cable ties.
 
u just need to snap in additional cubes to make the 2nd level. cable ties them if u want extar secure.
 
Mine are just snapped on the top of the grid that forms the first level. I use cable ties to hold it together. The grids are designed to hold 50 lbs, my guinea pig weighs just over 2 lbs so it doesn't really move.
 
Thanks for the help. It just seems like it would need support between the two upper level grids. I will have to try it and see how it work. Your cages are very nice. I just want mine to be fun for my three little girls.
