Introductions Trying to introduce two male pigs.

Im trying to introduce to male pigs.1pig is 4 months,the other 8 months.I already had Chester,the 8 month old, for a few months.And Oscar,the 4 month old,has been at home for about a month and a half.Ive already introduced them about 6 or 7 times.they go well,but never smoothly.I always introduce on neutral ground.What are some ways to make this work?

For one thing, stop introducing them and then separating them. You're just making it less likely that they'll ever get along.

Every time they meet, they start to work out which one will be the dominant pig. And then you interrupt that, and they have to start all over again the next time you put them together.

But unless you've got a big cage (at least 10.5 square feet, and preferably much larger), don't try putting two adolescent boars together. See the Home page of this site for cage size recommendations.

What am I supposed to keep them in an introduction forever.I dont think so.Please be more detailed and please tell me your source of information.Thanks for the help.
