I just bought some treats for my guinea today and he hasn't had any all of his life. Will it be a good idea to give them to him? Just checking... Thanks guys!

Most store bought treaats are really bad. What are they called? Most pigs will pick fresh veggies over 'treats' anytime.

They are called, 'Forest Fruit Treats'.

If they are just natural branches they are fine, If they are covered in seed, compressed "bits" of stuff or comtain any dairy then they are harmful to GPs and should not be given

"A tasty mix of crunchy cookies, bursting with fruity natural flavours and real berries to give guinea pigs a mouth-watering treat that's wholesome and fun...."

What are the ingrediants?

The ingredients are:

Wheat Flour, Oat Meal, Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Apple and Blackberry, Cranberries, Hazlenut, Artificial Colours.

Those are things that are bad for guinea pigs. Stick with a peice of fruit as a treat. Most store bought treats are just really, really bad junk food.

Ok, thanks for your help! :)
