training GP on pooing n peeing.....

i have no idea on how to do that.... any1 has successfully done it? teach me bcuz i want it to poo n pee at 1 or 2 spots for easier cleaning kekeke

I am certainly no expert, having only had my GPs for 2 weeks now, but I am doing fairly well with this. I had them in a 3' by 1.5' cage until a couple of days ago when their C&C cage was ready. They peed mostly in corners. During floor time I have a sheet down, but I also have either a few pieces of newspaper or a shoebox available for them. They always pee on the newspaper or box.

So, when I got my cage built I put newspaper and bedding in 1/4 of the cage and cloth baby diapers in the rest. There is poop all over, but that's pretty easy to clean. 95% of their pee has been in the bedding. I think that's a pretty good success rate since I haven't had them long. They seem to prefer peeing on newpaper/bedding to other things. And definitely in corners!

it can't be done , a Gp will never be fully ( watch out , i say fully ) able to be houseruled . Gp might react dsifferent to soft things and they will never pee where they sleep every night , to mazke them a bit more houseruled use these facts in your advantage

oh darn, my gp poops n pees at its sleeping spot.... errr i dont like that, cuz then when it sleeps it gets its body dirty. n i dont wanna touch it, n get my hands dirty, n wash my hands everytime.
