This is just an update for those of you that were genuinely concerned for Nugget. Nugget seen the vet Tuesday and was given some pain medicine (meloxicam) As for her leg the Vet said that she had some inflammation in her upper leg and said she could have fractured it, but there is nothing that can be done for it aside from what we had done ( separated her from her friends while she heals) She was eating and pooping and peeing normally, so he said it was not a concern that her water hadn't been touched and that she had to be receiving moisture through the veggies we had been giving her every hour so that she didn't have to move around too much.He said that she may possibly have a limp but that she could still lead a full active life. Yesterday she actually used her leg to scratch herself, she is doing amazingly well and is now moving around eating and drinking, thankfully there were no side effects from the medicine and she is acting like herself more and more each day aside from a small limp. I know the thread got out of hand and I was not going to even post an update but, I find myself checking on the well being of other guinea's and waiting to find out that they are alright, so I thought I would post in case anyone was waiting for her update.
