My guinea pigger, Fuzz, is squeaking at me like crazy!! Im holding him right now.. But all the sudden he just started sqeauking at me all the sudden! I didnt do anything.. And he's been chewing on the chair, my pants, and tried to chew on my finger! Is he mad or something?? Or is he just a curious little guinea or could he be scared??

Maybe he has to pee and wants to be put back in the cage.
He could also be scared. GPs bite as a last resort when they feel threatened, although I don't know why he would be afraid of and bite inanimate objects.

He may need a wee, put him back in the cage and see what he does.

Oh my gosh.. This is the best moment in my life :D When I put him in his cage.. I saw him POPCORN for the first time in my life!!! Hes happy!

Aww, that's great!

Congrats. Maybe they were shrieks of joy. And bites of joy? Hmm. Anyway, that great!

I know :D Im gonna get a picture of him up soon. he is soo fuzzy and has lots of colics, And a moehawk!

Bites of joy! That's cute. Does he have a companion?

Well, I just got him, and the little guy had a URI so I didnt want to get another one until he was healed, I got him the medicine right away, so now Im searching for a companion :D

I have to ask since I'm still new to pigges, but what is popcorn?

Aww, hope he gets better soon Timmeh! That is very wise thinking though.

Sabrina, it's when they do a jump in mid air - it sort of looks like a seizure!

Oh ok. Is it a good thing or a bad thing though?

Its a good thing, it means they are happy.. Kinda like jumping for joy.

Wheekwheek <popcorn>

Only a few of my piggies like to popcorn. I'm not really sure why?!

It's usually the younger pigs who popcorn most. Older pigs tend to be more laid back.

Yes, the older pigs get too chubby to lift themselves off the ground :)

Most of mine will start nibbling fingers and other things when they are impatient and want put down. It gets really boring sitting there being held. They want to go run and popcorn. My older ones rarely popcorn and I can't see snickers getting her fat butt off the ground. She has lost weight since I got her but there's still those fat rolls under her chin and shoulders. Rolo who's 10months and our newest one that's 4 weeks will both popcorn when they get new hay or put down on the floor to run.

Yup, I remembered when Meimei popcorned for the very first time, I was sitting at the desk while my husband screamed : Oh My Gosh, our pig is having a seizure!!! And perhaps Meimei was excited by his voice, she did a SERIES of pops and wheeks,.....
He was ready to pick up the pig and call our vet.......
(ps. forgive him, we lost our poodle 2 years ago due to heart disease, which its first symptons were - seizures!)

cutemomome, that's very cute and very sad at the same time.

My youngest girl, Petal, used to popcorn all the time when she was a baby but is all grown up now so I only really see her popcorn sometimes when I give them new hay. But sometimes, during floor time, both my girls will run and popcorn at the same time. It looks like a bouncy-ball gone crazy! Cutest thing ever.

Mu will popcorn during floor time and very rarely in the cage (more if putting hay in the cage). Mo and Teef don't popcorn that much. I saw them popcorn once in the cage and a few times during floortime. Mu used to popcorn a lot more. Mu would sometimes popcorn in his 1x2 petstore cage.
