My rabbit passed away a few days ago  and I have A LOT of timothy hay left over. I've been feeding this hay to the bun for years and, just recently, to the guinea pigs. I have about 4 large bales stored in our back garage in a bin with a mesh cover over it. How long will it stay fresh? It's so nice and green and smells wonderful. If I can prolong it's life so I don't have to buy more, that would be great!

It'll last a couple of years if you keep it dry and aerated.
