Ted my 2yr. old pig has been acting very lethargic lately. He has been holding poops in and then letting loose 10 to 20 poops (normally shaped) at a time. Eating and drinking appear to be normal. Took to the vet 2x in the last 2 weeks and he has been put on metoclopramide to help with the gi track. He responds to food and handling but is not really active other than that. Very different pig from two weeks ago. Has anyone experienced or heard of this before? Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Thanks The vet said that as long as he continues to eat and drink signs look good. I'm hoping that's true.

A good place to go for advice is https://guinealynx.com The people on thier forums know alot about guinea pig health. Their health and emergency forum can't be beat.
