No. Guinea pigs cannot have any dairy.

Yep, Piggies are basically Vegan. They can not have any type of animal product unlike other rodents who can.

I agree that hay and veggies should be the main staples of a piggies diet. They cannot process dairy foods and thus any type of dairy products, cheese, milk, etc. should be avoided and not given to the piggies.

Stick to vegetables, pellets, hay, and some fruits. Don't stray from that, guinea pig digestive systems are very delicate and alot of things can get them sick if you aren't careful. I suggest printing out the chart on guinealynx as a shopping list.

Maybe he/she means piggie's are cute ........because they don't eat dairy?! Also could you imagine how bad that might smell (if you gave them dairy)? From what I have read you can't get too creative with their diets. They are pretty plain as far as diets go.
