Frustrated They won't leave the kitchen!

The other day my husband brought home a Midwest gp cage for me. Love the cage and all, but my 2 piggies won't leave the kitchen. They know how to use the ramp bec I put them on the ramp and they walk over to the other side. I will leave the room and walk back in and they are back in the kitchen area. Any ideas on how to get them to go both places? Or should I just remove the divider and then they can roam the whole cage? I don't want to close them off from the kitchen area, so I am at a loss right now on what to do

Why do you want them to go both places? If they are happy in the kitchen, leave them be. The more space the better.

The kitchen isn't the bigger area. I have made it bigger by moving the divider but that's all.

I guess I am not really understanding you. When they want more space, they will go to their cage and to the kitchen.
