At Walgreens, they always have these 100% polyester fleece baby blankets for sale for $1. If that is the right kind of thing for fleece bedding, I was going to go buy up all they have tomorrow (pay day!) probably ten or fifteen of them. Think these would work? I don't want to spend the money if it's not the right thing.
Thanks.

Yup those will work. Just be sure to wash>dry>wash>dry>wash>dry before using them, unless they won't wick.

I've used those in my travel cage. They work well enough.

I have 2 different size cages and sometimes I have to use the shorter fleece for the larger cage. I'll use one of those blankets you were talking about for the end where I need to make up for using the shorter fleece. They seem to work as well as fleece you buy from fabric stores. Just definitely wash and dry at least 3 times.

Hi I got my new fleece from Ikea - home furnishing. The material just stated as 100% polyester. I am not sure what kind of fleece is that. Can it be used? Today I have washed and dry for the second time. One more to go! Also when I was washing it, I noticed part of the fleece being wetted while some sections are lighter in color (meaning not wetted)? Is this how the wicking property works too? I have to wash till the water is absorbed through the fleece?

Yes, that fleece is okay! I use that too! I would wash it a good 3 or 4 times before using it! When the fleece is dry, test it a bit in one corner by putting a bit of water on it. It will stay on top a bit, but should then wick through within a few minutes.

Good Luck!
