Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen
I have a problem, and that is my pigger, Willow is chewing on the grids between herself and her sister Elora. I have them seperated because Elora has some very specific dietary needs and Willow will eat a lot of the food before Elora can get to it. Also, they tend to fight and draw blood. I just put them in the joined cage this week and Willow spent the time between 12am-9:00am waking me up every hour (at least) by chewing on the bars. I'm going crazy between lack of sleep and the constant annoying sound of her chomping on the bars. I'm also concerned that it will hurt her mouth.
What should I do????

You could slide a piece of plexiglass between the coroplast and the grids. I did this for a time when I had this problem. You can buy plexi glass from Home depot.

The plexiglass should work perfectly, as long as it's to high for Willow to reach.

You can also just use acrylic.

If there is ample hay, pellets, wood toys for chewing on, etc. then you can do this. If not, fulfill those needs, and it may go away.

Also, you can move the cage to a different location than in your bedroom. Consider moving it to a family room or other place where you are most often.
