Hi everyone,

Have any of you had success with taping sheets of correx together? The sheets in my attic are very small and I will need to tape 3 together to make a 2x5. Will it work? What kind of tape should I use? No fancy names please, pictures would be great :p

Thanks

Yeah, it should work fine, you can use the clear packing tape
Or my personal favorite, duct tape,

Only difference is the color really.

When I upgraded from a 2x4 to a 2x6, I taped two peices together. It works fine, but for me, duct tape would not stick to the coroplast, it kept coming off, I like the clear tape.

Hmm.... I would have thought that duct tape is stronger? But it's ugly...There must be white duct tape, no? That way it would just camaflague with the correx. Thank you

If you want the tape to blend in, I reccomend colored duck tape brand. I got a red that's an exact match to my coro.

I used 'gaffer tape' which is really strong. It looks ugly though.

It worked well, trust me, I had to tape 4 pieces of correx together. Just make sure you press it on well and use loads for the edges.

Hmm...that name sounds really familiar. I think we might have some white gaffa tape in the garage
