swollen butt

my little Jack's (male) backside is SO swollen, its about the size of a baseball. its pink and his butthole is like on the side of it (I saw him taking a poo....) I just noticed it today...hes going to the vet today at 4:30..I dont know what the heck is wrong with him. he just got neutered about 2 months ago, could that be it? he lives with a female and his baby female in a 5x2 CC cage. I use a mixture of aspen and carefresh for bedding.

Wow, it could be a side effect from his surgery, like it never healed right or something. Please let us know what happenes!!
