I picked up some fleece today, next time my guys bedding needs to be changed I'm going to be switching to it from boxo. My plan was to do a layer of newspaper, two layers of towels and two layers of fleece. Does that sound good? I know I read somewhere that this was a method a few people used, but I wanted to check with you guys first.

I just love fleece! I don't think there is any reason to use the newspapers under everything. You do want to make sure you have a water proof base(coroplast or vinyl tablecloth).

You should only use one layer of fleece on top. The fleece layer wicks the moisture to the absorbant layers below. Having two layers would inhibit this process. I am new to guinea pigs but a long time cloth diaperer and we used a similar method for keeping baby's bottom dry.
