Support for a loft...?

I need something preferable thing to support a loft. The only thing I can find in my house right now is painted wood which is unacceptable. I don't have a piggy to put in there for 2 days so please help! Thanks so much!

Have you looked at the pictures on cavycages website? I saw a couple of examples of how they supported a loft. You might go in there and check it out. Hope this helps. Good luck.
