I want to get 2 pigs. I only have enough room for a 2X3, so I want to add a second level once I get it up.
I'm not sure if should do a 2x1 space or a 1 cube space, partly because I can't get ahold of any coroplast around here.
I was thinking about doing fleece if I do more than one cube. It would be just a wooden board with a fleece cover.
If I do a 1 cube, I could just put a pillow it and be done with it.
Or, easiest option 3-- I have this shelf thing for a shoe rack that would fit perfectly into the depth of the cage. It's about 8 inches high, so I think the pigs could still run under it and I would make it into one big bed type thing (Sorry, I don't have the picture that inspired me for this idea). Added bonus: Not having to buy any more grids, since I already have this. AND, it would be lower down so there wouldn't as much of a risk of them falling off the ramp.
And, what I think would be the most time consuming fourth option: Do a 1x3 on the back with fleece.
This is a long post, sorry. Please help me out! Thanks.
