I just wanted to say thank you to some folks who responded to a post I made last year about my senior piggie who had a growth. I had gone to a vet who told me he was too old to survive an operation. The vet was actually referred by well known cavy experts.

I posted here and you all encouraged me to get it done anyway and that he was never to old. Well I found a vet about 30 minutes away who performed the surgery.

The growth was not cancerous and left a 7 inch scar. Two infections and five weeks later and my EIGHT year old baby is fully recovered. He has more energy then before the growth happened and he chats up a storm.

Thank you for the encouragement.

Thank you for sharing and glad he's doing well. Your baby is adorable!
