stretching?

when i pet me guinea pig against the direction of his hair he makes happy pig noises but he als oextends his legs and sometimes lies on his side, is this a happy pig or a upset pig, sometimes he does bite me while doing this but sometimes he popcorn after this :$

cleopatra usually does this when she's tired. she stretches out her hind legs or rolls over on her side.

stretching and rolling...

Does your pig extend it's legs and stretch out more often than when you just pet him? Check his urine to make sure it is not red in color. I had a male guinea pig several years ago that was trying to pass a stone. I noticed something was wrong because he was stretching out and rolling on his side. I took him to the vet and he had the stones removed. (Does he squeak at all when he is rolling?) This may be way off, but better safe than sorry.

his urine is not red or anything, and he only stretches when i pet him against the direction of his coat, after that he usually popcorns but sometimes he bites me too

yea

u shouldn't pet animals against the direction of thier fur, i think it discomforts them, or something of the sort. if he bites u its a sign that ur doing something wrong.
as for cleopartra, she's healthy we were just at the vet. she just likes to nap on me for some reason. but we have a strong bond, im mommy, im the one who will protect her and she seems to have a good idea of that.
