This morning after Poppy 'helped'(he kept stealing the zip ties and clips) me revamp his cage, I noticed that he appeared to be straining to poop. He was sort of hunched up and kept checking himself.

I wrapped him up and checked for impaction, clean and tidy. Check his boy parts, nothing there except for a tiny piece of hay stuck in his sheath which I removed.

Checked his tummy, nice and soft, no distention or hardness.

I changed his fleece and he was pooping normally and doing his normal routine. Eyes bright, popcorning, etc.

Any thoughts? His diet has not changed.

Sounds ok to me. Just keep an eye on him for any further changes.

*WHEW* That is what his Doc. said, I just wanted some more opinions.

I watched him all morning and there was no repeat of that behavior! :)
