Stormed scared guinea pigs

My poor little cavies. Last night, a huge storm ripped through down around 4 am. The winds were going at 70mps and what happened was a large tree branch from across the street broke off and slammed into the apartment and just missed my bedroom window. It caused me to not only jump out of bed but scared the beezesous out of CC and Smores. They were screaming and running all over the place. I had to calm them down by petting them and giving them a bit of red pepper. They both calmed down about 20 minutes later. They are still a bit jittery today, but doing much better.

Aww, your Poor pigs. Im happy they are all ok. Im sure they will all settle down befor tomarrow. Just give them time.

Its a good thing your first concern was them, and you worked to calm them down. Poor piggies.

Poor things, but they'll soon calm down. And i'm glad that tree branch didn't actually go through your window! That's a close call.

We have had some storms like that here too but my pigs didn't seem the least bit bothered by the storms. I guess I am lucky.
