Hay Still looking with no luck

hey guys at the moment my guinea pigs are on the grass 6 hours a day to get grass any way i have been looking for ages iv tried amazon but they wanted me to pay $200 in shipping fro something that was $45. i live in Australia then i tried petco and the stuff i wanted from there they wouldnt send to my country. is there anymore websites that i can try to get some hay for my piggies

Are you in an area with any farms or horses? Horse people usually give their animals Timothy hay or sometimes a grass hay. I don't know if this an option for you but I just picked up 95 lbs. of 2nd cut Timothy hay for under $20.00. If you can find a feed store you may be able to get good quality hay by the bale for a reasonable price.

Have you tried looking at KMS? I'm not sure if they can ship to Australia or not, but it would be worth a look! Make sure that if you have your piggies outside, that you are watching them the whole time. Hawks and other animals/bugs/people could hurt your piggies if you aren't watching. Also make sure that the weather is not too hot or cold for them. If you want to feed them grass, you can also just cut some from a patch that is long, and then give it to them in their cage.

i do live in area with dairy's cow farms horses but all the hay people have lucne hay with grass in it but lucne is bad for piggies. my piggies are in fully enclosed grass tested area
