My piggie Pippin has what I believe to be spurs on his feet. Yes, I have read the guinea lynx page on it. It doesn't seem to be causing him any pain. Today I took him and his piggie pal to my local rescue to get piggie pedicures (nail trims) and ask about it. They said it was fine. Since I can trim their nails decently, I wanted to know if anyone can give me tips on trimming spurs. Thanks

I actually just had to look up spurs two days ago also. I was trimming my boys nails and noticed that Alfonz, whos nails grow in curly for some reason, has spurs. I was concerned, but aparently they aren't really too concerning a thing.

Alfonz doesnt really like the bottoms of his feet touched, so I am looking to find out if there is a way to get them to wear down easier? Would giving him a warm soak in the tub help get them to go away easier, since its just dry skin isnt it?
